Hi, I’m Ralph Jacob Tufts, but you can call me Jacob.
My life has been quite the ride, both personally and professionally, but I wouldn’t change a thing because it’s made me into who I am and where I am today. I couldn’t ask for more when it comes to my personal life – happily married, proud father of the modern-day Brady-Bunch, AKA “Mike Brady” and I have so many amazing friends who have my back. It’s my professional life where I decided to shake things up.
The last 25 years were spent in the corporate world where I launched and managed entrepreneurial ventures, led teams to success, developed international business partnerships, brought products to market and won numerous sales awards. Despite all the successes in my career, I lacked a sense of purpose and fulfillment. I knew I needed to make myself the #1 priority, take the time to reflect on my life, and find a path back to what brings me the most joy and happiness.
My love for the outdoors, creative spirit and artistic abilities have always been deeply rooted in everything I loved. When I hit the rewind button and thought back to when I felt the most connected to my true authentic self, it was right out of school when I became a certified white-water rafting and outdoor guide. Along the Colorado River I provided team building exercises to the US Army, led adventure-based leadership camps for inner city youth in Ontario and dabbled in art whenever I could. I loved the path I was on back then – when I was incorporating nature and creativity into everything I did. Deep down, I knew that is where I needed to get back to.
So, I am setting my fears aside and doing everything in my power to live my best life. This new professional adventure I am on will allow me to share all my strengths – mentoring, coaching, connecting and inspiring through the power of art. Mostly it will be me delivering on all aspects, however there will be times when I collaborate with others to make incredible experiences happen for my customers.
